Graphic Design

Find some of my graphic design work below!

I am familiar with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Canva, but am always learning new applications.

Creative Brief

This creative brief was designed to summarize the key findings from the research project I conducted in my Insights and Analytics course. Our team conducted first-hand research analyzing the effectiveness of potential influencer marketing campaigns for Nike Women. The full report can be viewed under Writing Samples in my portfolio.

Social Media GIF

In my graphic communications class, we learned how to created GIFs (moving images) that can be used on social media. The GIF I created explains the harmful effects e-cigarettes and vaping can have on your body.

Fact Sheet

During my time as a communications intern at Coca-Cola, I was asked to redesign the World Without Waste fact sheet. I created a three column one-pager that outlines the three pillars of the company’s sustainability initiative — design, collect and partner.

Infographic

This infographic was created as a campaign deliverable for my Advanced Public Affairs Communications course. It outlines statistics about voter turnout in the U.S. and is in advocacy of a bill that would mandate employers to give employees two hours of paid leave on Election Day.

Self Portrait

I created this graphic for a self portrait project. I decided to take an abstract approach to my design and was inspired by the Cubist movement and geometry.

Better Relations Day Evite

This is a digital evite for members of Auburn University SGA. Each year, representatives from Student Government Associations of the University of Georgia and Auburn University meet to build and promote positive relationships between the two institutions.

One-Pagers for Media Pitches

This is one of four fact sheets I created for DASANI’s largest sustainability announcement in brand history. These one-pager documents I designed were provided as additional materials for media during pitching. This fact sheet gives details on DASANI’s new aluminum cans. I also created one-pagers for the brand’s other innovations such as aluminum bottles, HybridBottle and PureFill 2.0.

Media Mailer

ZICO Coconut Water was a beverage I regularly worked with during my summer internship at Coca-Cola North America. The brand PR team charged me with creating a media mailer for ZICO’s Coco-Refresh that would be included in product send outs to influencers and media.

Fact Sheet

In my Public Relations Communications course, we were tasked with creating a fact sheet for our semester-long client. My client, Books For Keeps is a local nonprofit in Athens and this one-pager provides an overview of their mission and efforts.

Book Cover

I created this book cover as a project for my Graphic Communications course. The redesigned cover had to look professional, include a front, back and spine, and utilize design choice such as images, colors, and typefaces that are intuitive to the story.

Campus Flyer

I created this graphic on behalf of the UGA Student Government Association where I serve as director of communications. In this role, I create loads of flyers and graphics and this is just one example.

Dawg Tag Day Name Tag

Dawg Tag Day is an initiative to bring the entire UGA community together. Tables are set up on campus where SGA members pass out Dawg Tag Day name tags and encourage students to write their first names on the tags and put them on. From there, students are encouraged to greet fellow members of the UGA community by name, regardless of whether or not they already know each other. SGA’s goal is to bring the community together, breaking down social barriers.

Infographic

This infographic emphasizes the importance of expanding mental health services at the University of Georgia. It was created as a skills assignment for my Intro to Applied Politics course as part of the Public Affairs Professional Certificate program at UGA.

Print Advertisement

This print advertisement was created as a campaign deliverable for my Advanced Public Affairs Communications course. It highlights that nonvoters claim they are “too busy” and is in advocacy of a bill that would mandate employers to give employees two hours of paid leave on Election Day.

Poster on Graphic Design History

This Lichtenstein inspired poster draws on some of Pop Art’s visual hallmarks like bright colors, benday dots and comic strips. Hinge is a dating app that ditched swiping. They’re a client of Small Girls PR, where I interned during summer 2018. Pop Art is typically emotionally removed. In this case, the solution (Hinge) is providing a way not to care about a failed romance. Frustrating situations with dating and relationships is something people of all classes can relate to, which supports Pop Art’s goal to blur boundaries between the elite and the ordinary.

Campaign Event Promotional Graphic

I created this promotional graphic for the #MakeAthensCount campaign promoting participation in the U.S. Census in Athens, Georgia. Though the event was canceled due to the global Coronavirus pandemic, our team was able to iterate to successfully complete the campaign.

Digital Advertisement

I created this graphic as a creative application class project, exhibiting techniques learned throughout the semester. The graphic had to promote attendance or interaction in regards to one specific event for a nonprofit organization. My design was selected as the best example in the class of over 150 other public relations students.
